What color grout should you use with stainless steel mosaic tiling? Using stainless steel will bring long-standing durability to your floors. They are super easy to clean. They also look wonderful and bring a clean and clear look to your home. Stainless steel mosaic tiles are just like any other tiling, you need to find the proper grout. The traditional grout color that most lean towards is grey. Grey is a color that goes with pretty much anything. But what about your own personal taste and style?
This is why you need to look at your personal style, when deciding upon the color of grout. Grey is a good color, but will it work with your style and the atmosphere that the tiles are built around?
Say for example that you are working on a room that has a lot of femininity to it. Grey is not going to do you any good in this room. Grey will actually take away from the femininity. So you might want to think about some pastel colors. Colors like pinks and purples, especially lavender will work with this room.
Say you want to go the opposite angle, try something that is a bit more masculine. There is nothing wrong with this choice, but you need to choose the right color. You may want to try a burgundy or a red wine color. Those will fit in perfectly. A good rule of thumb is never use any sort of neon color to fill the gaps. Neon colors are a bad choice and it will throw off the room. It’s going to throw off the room in a big way, worse than using grey with a feminine color will.
The grout can either continue the pattern you are working with. Or the grout can be used to emphasis what you are working with. If you want emphasis what you are working with than use a color that is not going to blend. For instance, if you are working with a grey color, than don’t choose a color that will blend into that.
If you are looking for something that is a bit more neutral, than work with a shade that is close to the tile you choose. If your tile is more towards the dark grey, than choose grout that matches that color. Color contributes so much to a room, so remember to choose wisely.
