A finish for floors and walls, perfect for bathrooms and kitchens as cladding for bathtub surrounds and kitchen worktops, but also for other sanitary areas. Processing
Making a finish of hundreds of small pieces of natural stone of different sizes and shapes is a massive job. Mosaic Miro developed a method to facilitate the process and make it affordable. The fragments are first selected, sorted, put together and stuck to small mats in a special mould. The fragments are first selected, sorted, put together and stuck to small mats in a special mould. What make the mould so peculiar are the zigzag edges, leaving the finished product with seamless joints. The mats are stacked and packed in handy boxes for distribution.
When processing, simply glue the mats on the surface one after the other. Saw or grind the outer edges and transitions to other materials. To finish it off, grout the space in between the fragments, just like the joints of ordinary tiles.
Use Mosaic Miro on any stable and firm surface. On flat and curved surfaces. Create your own unique finish in combination with other applications, such as tiles, ornamental edging and/or ceramic products.
Depending on the type of stone, the finish may be impregnated with a medium suitable for natural stone. It will not only highlight the beautiful structure of natural stone, but it will also protect against chemical influences and make it easy to keep clean. Show less «
Types and colours
Mosaic Miro Palladiana and Pebbles have as basis six and seven types of stone respectively. Each type has its own colour, structure and aesthetic properties.
Mosaic Miro designed various combinations by mixing two different types of stone. Fascinating colour combinations that will never grow stale. A selection of 19 standard types in stock. On request, different types or combinations are also available, of course.
